Couldnt you ask your daughter to change her birthday - just this once :giggle:

Sorry you wont make it Isobel :(

my birthday is on the 26th i will have to have a think and see if i can make it xx

Can you suggest a few hotels? It would be great if we all stayed in the same one like we do in Birmingham. Is there a Jurys Inn in Glasgow?

General consensus is TI/TL are probably the best to go for:

Travel Lodge: Glasgow Central £55 per night
Travel Inn: Charing Cross £55 per night/George Square £60
Express by Holiday Inn: West Nile St, £67 per night

Theres also a Jurys in Jamaica St and The Raddison in Argyle St. Id suggest one of the Travel Inn types tho as I was thinking we'd probably be in the Merchant City and the top end of the town :)

Is it just the Moderators that meet up or can anyone join in?

Christine xx

I would love to come and meet you all.

(Jac hurries off to work out how much weight she can lose between now and then)

How soon do you think we'll need to book? My vote would be for George Sq as its so easy to find, right beside the train station....?

I know someone who works in the George Hotel. I may be able to get a discount on a few rooms.

I live in Falkirk and had intended to get the train and go home at the end of the night but perhaps I could be persuaded to stay over.
