Hi ladies,
I do have a diary in the low carb section as well but it seems so so quiet there and I really miss/crave the support and general chit chat
Long story short, Friday 11th July I cut out all bad carbs from my diet (bread, pasta, rice, potatoes, sugar/chocolate/biscuits etc) and have felt amazing. Plus lost 9lb as well!
So I'm aiming for relatively low carb 30-40g and under and since I'm entering foods in MFP to see my carb intake I count my calories too.
I've currently set my goal to 1700 a day although I'm struggling to eat that much most days. Ever since cutting out carbs my cravings have COMPLETELY gone, my appetite is so much smaller and eating is not the main thing in my head anymore. Which is nice since I used to eat crap every day and obsess over food ALL day.
So I started at a terrible 17st 3lb and am currently at 16st 8lb. My initial goal is to get to 11-12stone and then ultimately 10st! I've never felt better or more sure I can do this - it feels great!
I'd love to have buddies and support/advice from everyone! I'd like to hear your stories, experiences and advice! I will be posting my food diary here as well to hopefully give other people ideas as well as learn from my mistakes
