Go Ahead Crispy Slices

    Can anybody tell me how many syns are in this? They are a packet of 3, I got the forest fruits, they are lovely and perfect for on the go cravings.

  3. According to the Ocado website (you will already have seen this on the packet), they are 58 calories a slice. There would be no free food allowance for these, so the 1 syn per 20 calories rule would apply, making them 3 syns per slice.

    My goodness I didn't think there would be as many syns in them. Thank you for letting me know. Maybe just the one at a time then.
  5. According to Ocado, these are the ingredients, mainly flour and various types of sugar, dried fruit and processed fruit paste. Not a particularly healthy option, whatever their marketing people say!

    Wheat Flour, Fruit Filling (37%) [Sultanas, Currants, Glucose-Furctose Syrup, Sugar, Fruit Paste (Redcurrants, Blackberries, Raspberries), Humectant (Glycerine), Dextrose Monohydrate, Wheat Bran, Modified Wheat Starch, Gelling Agent (Pectin), Citric Acid, Thickener (Gum Arabic), Acidity Regulators (Sodium Citrate, Calcium Citrate), Flavourings Fruit and Vegetable Extract, Vegetable Oil], Sugar, Vegetable Oil, Water, Maltodextrin, Dried Whey, Dextrose Monohydrate, Salt, Raising Agents (Disodium Diphosphate, Sodium Bicarbonate, Ammonium Bicarbonate), Glazing Agent (Glucose Syrup, Dried Whole Milk, Thickener (Modified Potato Starch)), Rice Flour, Flavourings.
    Finished Product Contains the Equivalent of 23% Sultanas, 4% Currants, 0.4% Redcurrants, 0.4% Blackberries and 0.4% Raspberries.

    I won't be getting them again then. Will just stick to my fruit for a quick snack.
