i've been on CD now for 5 weeks (just had 5th weigh-in this morn) and my goal weight was always 12.5st, which is the top end of guidelines but today my councillor told me that i can do SS until i get to 12st and i'm thinking that while i'm on a roll that i should lose the extra half stone - what does everyone think?

it would only take an extra two weeks max to lose the extra half stone - i reckon i owe it to myself to go all the way.

I would do it - I have been in the position wherby I adjusted my goal as I neared the original one. Am glad I did so, and I have reached the new goal feeling very comfortable. If your CDC is supporting you, then that's great.

Don't forget - you'll lose weight as you move up the plans too, especially 810 through 1000.

    Hi tattyboo

For a momment, I thought this was a thread about hog roasts!
It sounds as if you should follow your counsellor's advice; I am sure that he/she has good experience in knowing what works best.
Good Luck with reaching your goal x

do it do it do it do it. You deserve to go as far as you can go with this diet. you could wait to make the decision until you hit 12st 5 ie keep it as a mini goal.
not sure of your height but think we're not much different.. My Goal is to get well into the 'healty range' then i've got a little breathing space. Hell if i'm honest i just really want to see if i can do it and what i look like at that weight (never remember being it)
What ever you decide we are all here to support you
