Gone off track!! Help!

I lost 1lb last week, which makes 11.5lbs in total, with at least 4 more stones to lose.
It was my 30th Birthday last week, and I have had take aways, alcohol, meals out! I know I have put weight on, I can feel it. But am struggling to get back into it with cake and chocs still around from my Birthday. If I go out for lunch I am choosing naughty things again! I desperately need to get back on track as I am getting married in Sept and have ordered my dress one size smaller, which arrives on 1st June!!! Motivation and help pleeeeeeeease xxxxxx

Ok think of it as a slimming world holiday and now give yourself a date you are returning home so to speak. On that day instead of packing to go home you will pack up all the junk food left over and throw it in the bin. No thoughts of it being a waste of food because going in your body to be stored as fat is also a waste.
It's your wedding, how would you like to look in those photos. Only you can decide if the chocolate is more important than feeling amazing and looking amazing on your big day xx

Happy belated birthday, draw that line under the week and start again. You have an amazing target of your wedding to look forward to ..... focus on that beautiful wedding dress and keep that in mind whenever you feel tempted.

i gained a stone in the month running up to my wedding. and i had seen myself in that dress a stone lighter. i had a fantastic day. but i will never stop regretting not keeping that last stone off!! you will look fabulous on your wedding day honey. it's a brilliant incentive. throw all the left overs in the bin (or take them to work for a free-for-all) and start again :)

I was a fat bride and I am sooooo gutted I started SW after I got married :( and I look really fat in all the pics.

Thank you so much girls! I am dreading my weigh in tomorrow, but am feeling back on it today. Told the other half that if he doesnt finish off the birthday cake its going in the bin!! Thanks for your motivation. My slimming world holiday was great, but I have arrived back today to the land of SW so here goes!! xxx

Yep, agree with everything here, only one thing to do, chuck all the bad food out and fill your house with free food!

Draw a line under it, go to WI and face the music, and then start again :)

just wanted to say thank you to Brighton Rosie for the great advice! (looking at going off plan as being a holiday) - I've strayed from the path a bit in the last few weeks - went away for the weekend lasr weekend and gained a whopping 4.5 lbs last night at weigh in!!!!!! oops!!! Looking at it like a holiday has helped me shift my mind set back on track!!! C xxx

I gained 3.5lbs a few weeks ago because I basically didnt do the diet for a week and I was absolutely horrifyed!! I worked my ass off last week and lost 2.5lbs, and i'm hoping to lose 1lb this week. But that just puts me back at where I was 3 WEEKS AGO! If I hadnt done that I could have been a minimum of 3lbs lighter now...which will probably take me another 3 weeks...

I'm absolutely gutted. I dont think I will ever ever ever make that mistake again after the shock I got when I got on the scales!! I think I needed it to make me realise...I cant put myself 3 weeks behind again! x

Right..do you want to be a fat bride?? Do you think you will be happy seeing yourself squeezed into a dress that COULD have fitted you if you had been good??
Put it all behind you. You had your birthday treat, so now you have to get back on track.
As the others have said, just because there is cake in the house, doesnt mean that you have to eat it...if its too tempting, throw it out.
Come on Hun..you can do it and before long you will be telling us that the dress maker has had to take your dress in, as you have lost more weight...but that isnt going to happen if you dont concentrate.

Just wanted to say good luck Clarus - I get married in September too, and have been putting off getting my dress coz I'm afraid I won't lose but I'm starting the shop on Saturday, and I'm sure we can both do it if we focus, and with the great support on here! x

If your work is anything like mine take the chocs in there and it will gone in lightning speed! And you can sit and watch them eat them and feel all smug you arent *evil laugh*

Or take it to a homeless shelter

Or be cheeky and wrap them up again and give them out as presents (recycle them) lol
