Not posted for a while, you know work and life, but still read the posts, and i need to share what happend today with you all. it was my WI was very surprised i lost 1.5 lbs (didn;t think i had done that well), got my 1.5 stone award, (thought i needed another lb to get it) so was very very happy and had a great big smile on my face - so i decided to venture into New Look and dared myself to try on a pair of size 10 jeans........ well the story goes as follows, i got them on, i fastened them, a little bit tight, so i thought end of the month these jeans are going to be mine....... told the changing room attending what i was doing when i handed them back, and she said our jean are a little on the small size....

my smile just got bigger -

I have been on this jounery for a few years ( fell off the wagon a few times but always came back) i think what i am trying to say is it does not matter how long it takes in the you will get there, hang in its all worth in the end.......

Hey jack-D your story has inspired me. I remember that feeling of getting into a size 10. Never thought I'd get there again but I'm back on it and determined. Good luck with the rest of your journey.

It's amazing the feeling you get when you get into the next size down. When I started my journey my aim was to be a size 12, I had a wedding to go to this week and thought I'd treat myself to a new dress, I ended up having to buy a size 10!! I was over the moon, my OH didn't quite understand why I was so elated (maybe a woman thing?), I honestly never thought I'd fit a 10, I haven't done since I was 17 (12 years ago) but it gives you the encouragement you need to keep going, I definitely find this more motivating than seeing the numbers on the scales.
