Hey there everyone, well I went to the chemist today to get my LT food ready for tomorrow but unfortunately, what I didn't get told when I spoke to the woman in the chemist over the phone, is that because they've never met me etc, I need to watch the LT DVD and start afresh.
The woman who runs the LT programme at the chemist had to phone and double check and LT said that she had to start over as though I was a complete beginner.
They also need to order in the food as they don't just have it sitting in the chemist like my old chemist did. So I have to go in on Monday and get the food.
It's good news that I've got the money for the LT now but bad news because I have another delay, but at least it's only til Monday and they have ordered the food in now.
I'll probably sit and watch the DVD anyway seeing as I've paid the deposit for it.
I'm off to Wales tomorrow for the weekend so I will be geared up on Monday for my lovely shakes again.
I've gained 10lbs in the past 3 weeks, not happy with it but it's my fault, I've not been very good. With all the stress and everything else, I've been careless.
Can only start again on Monday and start a new journey, but I'm all set and prepared for it now and I'll be buying a big bottle of water for my train journey back on Monday morning.

    I'm soooooooo excited :D:D:D:D:D

    Hi Abbie,
sorry about what happened, I know you were geared up to start but Monday isn't that far off. Enjoy the weekend with your aunt and watch the carbs, it will give you a better start next week and the withdrawal won't be as bad. Best of luck.

    Hi Abbie

What a shame, and you were so geared up for it. When i went to my pharmacist for the first time, the girl was lovely and she let me take the DVD and said she would tell the pharmacist that i had seen it before starting! She could see that I really needed to start it on the Friday....some are just not like that, unfortunately.

But, I can really see that you are so determined and you will lose that 10lb either in the first week and definitely by the 2nd week anyway, and that is great to know - eh!.

You are no doubt in Wales now, but hope you had a good time, or if you read it over the weekend, hope you are having a good time.

Looking forward to hearing how you are getting on in your week.

    Take care

how frustrating. still soon it will be monday. when i went to the chemist having never done LT they weren't too pleased that i had not seen the video and wanted to delay me starting. i was able to persuade her that i knew lots about it - was tutored by MATRONIX at work and therefore she let me start
how odd the chemist doesn't have a supply- cant imagine how that works
enjoy your weekend and start monday
    good luck

Hiya everyone, Yep, I'm in Wales at the moment and having a fantastic weekend. Going to be a race against the clock tomorrow to get back in time for the chemist before it closes. Couldn't get booked on an earlier train, so my train leaves at 2:25pm and I'll be back at 4:30pm, but then it gives me an hour and a half to get back to the Chemist. I think I can do it. It took me an hour to get to Paddington the other day, so I'm hopeful I can do it.
I'm getting my bottle of water ready for tomorrow though. Really looking forward to it.
I think the reason my chemist doesn't keep a big storage of the shakes is because it's not as central as my other chemist was. This chemist is a bit out of the way and they probably don't have as many people doing the LT as my other chemist did. So rather than having the Sachets of food sitting there gathering dust and expiring, they just order in what they need as they need it. Seem's a tad more sensible I guess.
Anyway, glad to finally be getting some aspect of my life sorted out lol, it's been like a big Eastenders marathon for a while but hopefully with one thing improving, it can set the ball rolling for other stuff.
Thank you all for your support. It means so much to me that I can come on here and talk to you and have your opinions and your support.
Hope all of you have had a great weekend so far.
