Green Day?

I do EE normally as it's much easier to cook for everyone and have us all eat the same. I really don't know a huge amount about red/green days.

I was just thinking about what I'm eating today and think I've inadvertently managed to have a green day?

B: yog and fruit

L: sweet pot and BNS soup

D: falafel (HoneyOC's syn free recipe) with pitta (HexB) and salad

I did put 2 small slices of lean ham in my soup. Could that be used as a Hex? or am I better just calling it an EE day and carrying on as normal?
Havent had any milk or cheese or anything else like that yet today. (not sure if that info matters)

any help much appreciated :) x

I would go for the green, so you've still got 2 hex a and b s, woo hoo! happy days x

I'd do the same. But remember to syn the ham that you've had. And your pitta will be one HEXb so you have another one you can use

I'm a meat eater, but happy to do occasional green days so I can have extra bread/cereal/pitta/cereal bars etc

I heartily recommend trying out green and red days! I started off just doing EE, then branched out into green which is great for those days when only stodge will do...I've been really slack recently, and have found that red days have been good to kickstart the weightloss again.

Sometimes I just don't want to munch through half a plate of salad/veg, and as others have said, those extra Healthy Extras are such a treat!

I like green days when I'm on a 12 hour shift at work, can have my scan bran and laughing cow lights, and a hi fi and milk in my tea/coffee. also don't have to worry about soggy salad, can eat free sainsbury ravioli and a jacket pot with beans then when I get home low fat supernoodles with an egg mixed in. also have bits of fruit and a yoghurt for afters.

normally on this kind of green day you don't want to be standing behind me after about 6pm lol.

haven't tried a red day yet.... will keep it in mind if I'm struggling x
