Greeneyes will PERSEVERE.........

Hi Linda. :) xx

How's it going GE? After a HOPELESS day yesterday I am now on the SW rowing boat... rescued by the minis girlies. Can we fish you out of the water too?

Well I hadn't finished my chocolate, so will start SW properly tomorrow..... did have left over lamb stew for lunch today which I think was all free food..... is pearl barley free? but then I had a hot cross bun this afternoon and finished my chocolate this morning. Dinner is a recipe from this months SW magazine, so a half day attempt I think....

Thats ok, I've had plenty of those! Come and join us soon. xx

Morning GE wow the sw gang are increasing lol.

Good luck please let me know how u get on with it.

Have a lovely day xx

Hi Linda,

It sounds like you've made a start. I always ease myself into a hot bath or cold pool. I'm often not one to just jump in!

It's okay Shanny... we can watch 'em and learn. I'm still with you on CD wagon -- we're all headed the same way. Doesn't matter if they've swap to water transport, and we're still on the old road. Whatever works at that time.

Hi GE, how are you today? Ready to get on board the chug boat?

xxx

That's it, Linda.

I'm sending out the rescue driver.

Right I am onboard peeps.... put batteries in scales this morning and nearly fainted clean away when I found I had only put on 3lb since stopping CD...... er how???? Anyway, very pleased with that. Had normal porridge for breakfast, banana, 6 prunes in Juice (can anyone tell me if they are free please) and roasted veg and chicken for lunch (leftovers from SW recipe last night).... so day 1 and raring to go.....

Thank you for sending out rescue for me MM xx

Hoooray! And well done you Linda! After all your troubles over the last few weeks you are an inspiration to us all. Big hugs. xx

Hi Linda,

Your neligible gain is no surprise to me. The rescue diver sent a text and said that it was easy peasy pulling you on board. And, he added he was sorely tempted to try and little mouth to mouth eventhough it was not needed! ;)

Yay Greeneyes... that's it, all present and correct, let's set sail!

That's fab Linda.........what a result? See, I bet mentally you had looked in the mirror and thought you had gained a stone. My mind is telling me that I am a stone heavier than I was yesterday, which is ridiculous but that is how my eyes are 'seeing' me today.......darn them eyes :D:mad:

Is there a shop anywhere where you can buy willpower? Was so good all day, stuck to plan and went off to pub quiz with intention of drinking a diet coke like last week. But as we wont last week we had £20 behind the bar and my sister was having an alcoholic drink so I did too, ended up having 2 glasses of wine and a treat size pack of smarties......... grrrrrr!! Guess next week as we will be paying for our drinks I will stick to diet coke again...... so scales up by 0.4lb today, not the end of the world I guess, will try again today..... lol Am off shopping so will find some SW friendly food to eat if I am hungry and need to snack.

Morning GE, Glad to hear you are not stressing about it hun, just keep on trying hun, you'll get there, especially if you are prepared!

Have a great day

xx

Morning Linda,

So you had a few extra syns.......in the scheme of the 105 per week you are allowed, that is really no biggie. I went slightly off the rails last week because of good choices, that turned out to be not good ones at all....someone pointed out to me that using the weekly allowance, 13 syns for a salad bowl was ok....I was on the verge of stuffing my face with all manner of cr*p but the advice got me back in the boat :D

Don't worry about it at all, just knock a few syns off over the next couple of days and you will be back to where you ought to be.

Hope you are enjoying another fab, sunny day. xx

Yes, I have bought some syn free food today, lots of fruit, some chicken, ham and eggs and some bacon, frozen berries to mix in with my 0% fat free greek yoghurt, so that is todays menu...... ha ha only joking...

I was hoping someone might be able to help me. I thought it was expensive when I was doing CD but I am sure that buying all this healthy food is far more expensive. There are 5 of us in the house, but the 2 small boys probably only eat as much as 1 adult (I always do slimming world recipes for 4 and there is plenty normally with some left over), and this week excluding animal food, I have spent £150. I really only have £70 a week budget for our food so have spent money we dont have. How much on average do you spend on your shopping in a week and what sort of meals do you cook? Help me to cut down on this bill please otherwise we will be back to sausage rolls and chips for dinner.... not good!! Plus I do not buy crisps or juice and not many chocolate biscuits either (my mum buys them crisps for the week and some choc bics and normal bics too, so only need to top up on the bics for them).
