Hairdressers - advice needed :-)

Calling all hairdressers or anyone else who can help...

I have a very stubborn grey streak, I get my hair coloured and within days the grey is back, it's almost like the colour has fallen off.
It does take when I have it done and there's no sign of grey but then, literally days later, it's back - a great big clump of gray.

I'm darkish blonde naturally and I have it dyed a lighter blonde with darker highlights.

Any advice gratefully received

Do you get it coloured professionally or do u do it at home?? Grey hair is very difficult to colour so its defo a job for the professionals!!! xx
