Yikes!
Sounds crazy - the idea that I'm aiming to shed half myself - I'm not planning on "losing" the weight - I need to get rid of it and not find it again
I'm not a restarter but a finally-getting-started.
I have an official start weight of 21st 4.5lbs (I know I actually went up to 22st 10lbs at one point) and a first week weigh - in of 7.5lbs down - which not only takes me under 21st but also gives me my 1/2 stone SW award at the same time
About 1.5-2 years ago I did drop to about 19st 9lbs but it crept back on.
I can't give up - I'm 36 and after 10 years TTC (I only have 1 fallopian tube and that may not be functional but tests were "inconclusive") it appears IVF maybe my only option and I have to get my BMI under 28 - and I'm getting "old" as far as fertility goes
Then again - who knows - shedding the weight may just help mother nature along
which would be awesome.
That target of under 28 BMI equates to 50% of my start weight.
