Happy but Embarrassed to be on day 1 again!!

Well here I am again on day 1 for what seems like the 100th time :mad: I really really so want to do this but always seem to struggle badly over the first few days. I know if I can just get the first week over me that I will be feeling so much better that I will stick to it. So fingers crossed!!! lol.... If anyone has any tips etc for the first few days I would be really grateful :D - thanks sal x

hi sal, its my first day today aswell and so far i feel ok, i am working all week and got a busy week i did it on purpose so that i could get over first week try and keep busy drink lots of water and stay on here read thru success stories , good luck we are all in same boat and together we can do it :) x

You can do this, just put it all to the back of your mind. I have found the first week all I could think about was CD and it was kinda of self destructive. Remember you are doing this as a choice and it WILL work. Occupy your time with other activities the best you can distraction is the best thing. The more you think about it the more it can consume you. Stay strong and have a "matter of fact" approach of you can do this and nothing or no one is going to deter you. Stay strong you have been strong enough to choose to do this you have got past the first hurdle already xxx

Just stay with it, it does get easier. The weight loss is quick, which is what we want, otherwise its just 'normal' diets with 1-2lb loss per week.
Use this time to get into a good frame of mind. When we binge and mess up a lot of our thoughts are preoccupied with beating yourself up!
I'm pretending I'm a monk and this is my meditation exercise to finally sort myself OUT!! :p
