Harry's 2013 Diary...

Harry I know how you feel. :(
Especially when I drink wine. It just seems to effect me more than any other alcohol. 2 glasses of wine goes to my head and I eat crap.
2 beers or g&t's dont have the same effect at all.
Then with wine, I want to drink more. Then I eat more. A very vicious circle. Its almost as though there is no off switch once I have started.
I am no where near that bad with any other alcohol. Probably because I use a lot of mixers. Even beer I tend to drink as a shandy these days, with diet lemonade !
Keep trying Harry :)
Even if you stay off the alcohol for a few weeks at a time it will let you lose the weight :)
I know its sounds as though I am a right lush, but a few glasses of wine a couple of nights a week is all it is taking for me to not lose. :(
Im off it now for 3 weeks.
I am only drinking now at planned social events for a while. It will give me a losing chance ;)

ED give me your will power. No No I am not crying over it but it hurts. I was so good for whole week and didn't lose at all.

Hi Harry. Just been catching up with your diary. Sorry you've had a difficult couple of days but it seems you're back on track now.. Hope you can keep it up. If you do you'll soon be back in the 14s and working towards the 13s. Everybody has blips - it's how you recover from them that makes the difference! I can sympathise about the wine. Before starting this diet I can't remember a single night when I didn't have a drink. I normally had only one or two glasses but sometimes it could be a lot more when out socialising. Since starting on exante I've only drank twice - once on my birthday and twice when I stayed overnight in London. (I did drink a lot on my birthday and quite a lot in London.) When I had a drink every night I was convinced i couldn't sleep if I didn't have a drink - yet I sleep like a log without a drink now. I must admit that I don't find it difficult to not drink at all now, but I also know - from my birthday experience - that when I do have a drink I don'y just stick at one!

You're doing well missus. Keep at it. Sometimes it is important to just concentrate on sticking to the diet then exercise once you've got that right. If you don't feel like dieting today don't. Just have a relaxing evening and an early night.

Get back into the diet. Get rid of the carbs. Then get back into the exercise when you are up to it :)

Its my day off today but it will be hectic day.:(
its my boys transition day so I have to pick him up from high school.
Ekkk my youngest going to high school in sep I feel that I am getting old now.:(
whole weekend we have tournament to attend so I book holiday for sat. NO drinking and eating.:rolleyes:
I really want to go for a jog but I want someone with me :( I don't want to go by myself.
By the time daughter gonna come back I wont be able to run, cause of all that water consumption.:mad:
So far I had porridge and black coffee. 500ml of water.
Ah man I want to go for a run :( need company.
