Hi Guys,

I've had a quick look in the recipe section but can't seem to find what I'm after.

Has anybody got a curry recipe that's really easy to make that either free or low syn on green?

Thanks

Put Quorn chicken pieces/fillets in a frying pan, add a tin of tomatoes, curry powder and creme fraiche/fat free natural yogurt. Add vegetables etc. Serve with rice

I've got a vegetable biryani recipe in the recipe sticky thread up the top there... It's rather tasty indeed, if I do say so myself! And very easy :)

You could also add chick peas or lentils to bulk it out a bit too if you like them. Chick pea and spinach curry is lovely.
Just to tomatoes and spices as above, add a tin of chick peas and then wilt some spinach in at the last minute.

Chicken Tikka Curry
1 Onion
1 green pepper
1 yellow pepper
2 tins chopped tomatoes
Asda Tikka spice 2 tbls
Chill Power 1 tsp (or more if you like it hot)
Garam Masala 1tsp
Ginger 1tsp
Corriander ground
Corriander Fresh

Chop onion finely and fry in fry light till soft,do the same with the peppers.

add the tomatoes and all the spices, let it simmer for about 10-15 mins.

then add either fresh chicken or quorn chicken and let it simmer until chicken is cooked.

midway cooking add some fresh corriander.

make a mint sauce to go with,
using natural low fat yoghurt mixed with some mint sauce!
