Have I messed up tonight?

I am on 3 packs a day with a protein meal and veg.

Tonight I had a 100g turkey breast and 150g of sprouts. I thought I was allowed to eat sprouts but have now found out they have too many carbs in them and wonder if I have knocked myself out of ketosis?

What do you think?
 
That would be about 10g of carbs for the sprouts. As long as your total carbs for the day is around 70g or less you should be fine. There are some lucky people who can eat even more carbs than this and stay in ketosis.

Don't worry about it. You can't change it now. You are either still in ketosis or not. Either way is fine - just move on.

Oh - and I have to say - 150g of sprouts?! Yuck!
 
Sounds five hun. A quick look online puts them at 5.3g per 100g. You'll be fine :)

MFP has them at over 7g per 100g. Either way it should be ok.

Sure it can't of been 150g anyway???!!

Don't stress hun, you'll still be in ketosis most likely
 
I weighed them, it was that many I LOVE sprouts steamed.

Oh well fingers crossed I am ok, and wont eat them again.
 
I read in this forum that you can eat sprouts, so i went out and got some, I eat them now and again with salt and black pepper, love them! they don't knock you out of ketosis don't worry:)
 
I eat some sprouts most days, the weights falling off and I'm definitely in ketosis ;-)
I expect as long as you don't eat a bucket load you'll be alright

Will need to treat myself to more steamed sprouts this week, I do love them lol
