havin a wobble ....

I'm having a bit of a wobble today!! I know I know the answer to this after all this time but I just need someone else to tell me

Can you eat too much free food.:eek:

I have issues with food like alot of us, and have been feeling really down today so I have dealt with it in the only way I know, I have eaten huge amounts of food:eek:, I've been good and stuck too free food, but I have had loads!!

I find you all an inspiration, it's you lot on this site that keep me going..help!

Look at how brilliantly you have done so far, and the weight you have lost! you have stuck to free foods which is more than I have today! lol! Trust in the plan, and you will keep on losing the weight. Chin up x

I know thank's guys, I know you're right, but I also know that this compulsive overeating is what got me so huge in the first place...sorting you're head out long term seems impossible to me

Take it slowly, a day at a time. If poss stop the negative thoughts that we all have, also the guilt as it is so destructive. Have you planned food tomorrow? Is anything going to get in your way?

I know how it feels to feel guilty when you've eaten loads and loads...even if it's free food! Just keep reminding yourself that it's free, you don't eat like that all the time, and also how horrid you're feeling now you're so stuffed. You know you've over-eaten and you're panicking and worried...!

It's free so you should be absolutely fine. As the others say...it's not junk food you're stuffing yourself with. So cut yourself some slack...look back at how well you have done and relax for the rest of the evening xx

Thanks hellie I know you're right, it's just hard to get control sometimes.

txrawl, thank you, yeah I've got food planned for tomorrow, I'm a bit of a control freak with the planning now, I have free pudding rice and muller made in the fridge for breakfast and also a free veg soup for lunch. So just got to arrange dinner and I'm done.

I know I need to relax around food a little more I suppose I feel like I've come so far I'm petrified of loosing it and going back !

I actually think you deserve a huge WELL DONE!

I don't know if you're anything like me, but when I go into binge mode, there is no way I'm sticking to free foods... So I can only congratulate you for having done so :)

Our food issues will not go away overnight (we've generally spent a good few years developing bad habits) - so it's all about taking baby steps and re-educating your mind.

This is definitely a step in the right direction, so well done, and keep at it. We'll get there eventually!!
