Hello everybody :)

Hi and welcome. If you are thinking about trying a VLCD then have a look at the sections for that diet on here and also the firm's website. If you have any questions there's bound to be someone here who can help

Welcome and good luck whichever way you decide to lose :)
Hi and welcome to the forum.

I looked at different VLCD's and decided on Cambridge. It's not the cheapest, but not the most expensive either. It also seems to have the widest range of meal choices. As well as that, research online from people who have actually compared different VLCD's suggested that Cambridge meals tasted better too.

The choice is really down to you, but feel free to ask for more information and/or advice in the Cambridge area if you like. :)
Hey guys!
thanks for the advice :)

tried a slim fast milkshake today... cant say I enjoyed it, but oh well, I drank it...!

Is slimfast even a VLCD?! I dont know...

ALSO - know this has nothing to do with the topic but alas - I cant seem to add a profile picture :(! Why is this?

Cheers in advance :)!

No it's not. You can use Slim Fast as part of a calorie controlled diet, which will be around 1200 calories per day. This would be 2 Slim Fast shakes a meal and a few snacks. Calorie wise it’s equivalent to step 4 of Cambridge, just done in a slightly different way.

A VLCD is generally around half that amount of calories or less, which is why it has to be monitored and not available in supermarkets or on the internet. Sole Source on Cambridge (for example) is 415 or 554 calories.

You should lose weight faster on a VLCD, if it's something you think you can stick to 100%.
