Hello newbie started on herbalife

    Hello everyone,
    Started herbalife on friday and cant believe how good i feel, i have tried every other diet going but have been talked into trying this and im glad i finally said yes.
    I have so much more energy and am happier than i have been in a long long time, dont know if this is down to the plan or the fact that i am doing something about it.
    Hope your all good and looking forward to reading the posts and if i ask a lot of questions i will say sorry now ;)
    any hints and tips would be good and i hope this feeling lasts a long time

    Yes, herbalife does that to u! U should start a diary here so we can follow ur progress and meals :) mines called clovers herbalife diary if u want a read.

    What products are u using?

    Hi thanks for the reply, i have the cappacino shake and the mint one and vitimins.
    i had a good read through the posts last night and they are all very inspiring, hoping to be a long term menber on here

    Hi Kaz

    Welcome aboard, I started the Friday before last and felt better instantly too - it's mad isn't it! I am using choc and vanilla at the moment but want to try the cappacino and mint to mix things up a bit :)

    What meals are you having in the evening? x

    hi i think the cappacino is a bit of a weird taste not like coffee at all but not unpleasent
    today was not a good day for me as its dinner round my mums and the family are there and we had roast belly rashers and roast spuds but am pleased to say my resolve stayed strong even tho it was very tempting to go to the cupboard and eat choc and crisps like i would have any other week, also only had 1 shake today and 1 snack

    Yeah I thought the same about cappuccino, I ended up adding instant coffee to it most times as.it was 'coffee' enough for me. If u add that and blend with ice amd ur milk, its like a frappucino, lovely :)

    Kaz make sure you are eating enough otherwise you won't lose weight. A big factor of HL is that you are speeding up your metabolism by eating 5-6 times a day - 3 meals and 2-3 snacks and getting your lean protein amount - really really important xxx

    i seem to be having trouble fitting in all the snacks as i have my first shake at about 9ish maybe i should have it earlier when i get up, i tend to have a meal at lunch time of maybe a salad or cold meats or the other day i had mince and veggies in a flask then i have the other shake about 8.30 if i have a snack when i get in
    i like the sound of adding extra coffee to it and i tried the toffee apple and cinnamon on today and didnt like that at all

    Yep think herbalife say to have ur.breakfast shake within half hr waking up.

    I just got my.order of toffee apple one and I really dont like it either... the taste is too strong for me, an expensivr mistake to make when u buy one u dont like :(

    Hi Kaz, yes first shake within 30 minutes of waking up, so I have mine at 7.30 then I have a snack at 10.30/11 lunch is between 12.30 and 2 (depending on work and if I'm shaking or eating) I then have my pm snack ( a HL bar) at 4.45 - 5.30pm and then dinner around 8,30 - I don't really have an evening snack but those middle two are really important for boosting the weight loss and getting the body working.

    I know jake, I was so looking forward to th toffee apple.. mixed in the shaker I didnt like it (I even gagged at the end of it! But it was 3am on shift and I was feeling abit nauseous!) I then tried.it mixed in.the blender properly with ice and more.milk, the first few sips were too strong.but then I.started enjoying it so not sure how.I feel about it really!!

    another 1lb off this week which i am happy about as i didnt really stick to it very well this week, so as of tomorrow i am going to write a food diary x

    I'm a newbie too.

    Did the 3 day trial last week and at my evaluation lost 3lb of weight, gained 2lb of muscle, reduced my Body fat percentage by 1% (effectively lost 5lb of body fat) and upped my hydration.

    Started full time on the plan on Sunday and I'm feeling great so far.

    Going to have a look through the site now for some receipe ideas, struggling for what to have in the evenings.
