I always find the introductions the hardest to do. Maybe not as hard as the realisation that you need to take control of your own life and do something about your weight loss however!
Suppose you could say I have always been dieting most of my adult life. I have had the success (7st 2lbs back in 2003) and the failure by gaining all of it back and more.
But as the years have marched on my weight has been an increasing hurdle and barrier to over come. I have finally hit my bottom and the only way for me is up! I re-join my local group in Essex on Wednesday and am ready to do this for good. I've even surprised myself after deciding it was finally time by not have the "last supper" of chinese or indian etc that has always happened in the past.
I plan to keep a journal of my progess, and have already written the first chapter as it were. In time I may come to share this, who knows!
I have a long journey to go, and a goal of health and happiness to aim for. That and going to Hong Kong in a year to see friends. Would be nice to fit into the plane seats alittle better by then!
I have a goal weight inmind of 200lbs and will need to lose approximately 180lbs. Well I hope it isn't any more, will find out on wednesday I guess.
Finally I would like to say all the best to anyone else starting out on their weight loss journey. And a bit well done to those that are doing so well on their journey already!
See you around,
Mark
