Thank you all! I joined the Christmas Challenge - wow, that would be amazing to be 11stone 8 pounds by Christmas! Enough of an incentive to be strict I think.. Well hope so anyway! Can I just ask one thing - how have your partners reacted to you going on this kind of diet? x

Hi,
welcome to minimins and to CD. Lots of luck with it.
As for partmers I have to say mine has been very supportive (it's partly due to the increasingly skimpy underwear I can wear now I think!) He's been a real love about the diet and has never complained, looked bored, offered food or anything.

hey ciwti! welcome to the world of cd'ing hope your 2nd day is going well! joining a challenge is a great idea, i'm in the sept challenge and it's really kept me going, can't wait to start the Oct challenge!
My hubby has been excellent anytime i discuss the diet he listens and helps me out, he's been doing more cooking and wouldn't dream of offering me anything! when i first broached the subject i made a big point of telling him that it is healthy with all the vits & mins i need and he was 100% behind me, it's great to have support from him and also from everyone on this site!
Good luck!

xx

my hubby has been ok , he knows how much this means to me so is supporting me by saying the right things ect.

Well we've only been together seven months and so its still early days - don't live together but go away a lot for romantic weekends and nice dinners etc. This is the size I've been since he's met me and I know he thinks I'm perfect just as I am. Love is blind as they say! I'm sure he will be supportive just don't want to come across as a diet freak when things are so new. It is a very boring diet in terms of socialising and dating! But I'm sure he'll love the new me even more... Hopefully anyway!

Hi all, thanks. My relationship is fairly new - 7 months - and we're still in the romantic dinners and weekends away stage, so that's why I'm a bit apprehensive. I've been this size since he met me and he doesn't think I need to lose any weight. Love is obviously blind! I'm sure he'll be supportive, just wanted tips on how not to appear diet obsessed and put him off. Though I think he'll love the new me even more. Well he better anyway!
