I am 4 weeks into my plan, supposed to be on 810 as i am now 9stone 10lbs after losing 10lbs so far. However, i keep missing my meals as i think that it will make me lose weight faster - how can it not? However, i feel hungry a lot of the time. I try not to have my first pack until about 11am/12 as this staves off the hunger for a bit but it soon comes back. I do often have fish/chicken/tuna and cottage cheese but sometimes i do miss these meals. I also get bouts of feeling really cold, dizzy and lightheaded. I am sure this is to do with the diet but it doesn't seem like anyone else gets it. I really don't want it to prevent me losing weight on this diet. Also, i maintained my weight this week - EEEEK. Please help!

Not sure what answer you are looking for.
With this diet, it is essential that you follow the CD plan, not re-invent it.
You say you keep missing your meals:doh:to lose weight faster.
Having the side effects that you are having could be down to the fact that you are not following the plans properly. Yes, those side effects may be suffered by others at times, but you need to do this diet correctly.
Think about what you are doing to your body and reconsider your approach to this diet. Please don't re-invent what has been trialed and tested and so successful for others.
Please don't be offended by my straight talk, but sometimes the truth is best.

You shouldn't miss your meal packs or your meals if they are part of your eating/diet plan. The reason you haven't lost any weight this week is for that very reason, you are not following the plan, you are starving yourself...if it is 810 calories you are on then 810 calories needs to be consumed for optimum weight loss and your own well being and safety...trying to starve yourself is not an option and if you do suffer from an eating disorder it is advisable to seek professional help...people on vlcds do suffer from lightheadedness and other symptoms...it sounds like you might be dehydrated as well, are you drinking your 3-4 litres per day? (not sure what CD diet suggests but other vlcds with just food packs suggest 4 litres)

Thanks for your responses everyone. I am not trying to reinvent the diet, i never miss the packs i just sometimes don't have my meal so the worst i am doing is following the Sole Source plan. I really cannot understand how eating more (on the 810) plan will make me lose weight faster than doing Sole Source or Sole Souce +?? I certainly do drink enough, easily about 4 litres a day.

People who have more than three stone to lose should be on sole source, not someone with less than that...but they can use it to get to goal...these are health guidelines...and you won't necessarily lose more weight, but because you have less weight to lose, you don't need to cut the calories so drastically...hope this helps...slowly does it, we all want the fat to melt off, but it took ages to get there in the first place and it takes time to get it off and KEEP it off...this isn't a quick fix...dieting should be part of a lifestyle change which also takes time...and eating food gets you used to using food rather than relying on packs to lose the weight...with less weight to lose, you won't have the big glycogen spike when you start to eat normally again if you also have some food (carbs and protein, etc)

Nothing to add other than what has already been said - well done those posters. :)

Trust in your CDC and the plan at the very least.
