Help!! I've gained a bit...

    Hello lovely people. I was hoping for some inspiring words, please!!

    After losing 5stone 7lbs which I've maintained for 8 months now, I have gained around 7lbs:cry:

    I don't know what's wrong with me. I have been exercising a lot more as I've committed myself to a race walk and I am getting some serious mileage in, averaging 4.5 miles per hour. But since I've got really serious in getting my mileage and speed up, the weight is going on and I'm so hungry all the time and pigging out to the point of binging. Who says exercise is good huh?!

    I cannot believe that it warrants the amount I've gained and I feel utterly miserable. I am back on the wagon but finding it difficult because my thoughts are very negative cos I feel so rubbish. I have a night out planned for tomorrow night and want to have a few glasses of wine (obviously I have no points saved!) with some friends but I'm frightened to but at the same time I don't want to stay in as I don't go out very often.

    well for a start stop feeling bad because you've gained a measly 7 lbs, you've still lost 5 stone!!

    have a look on some fitness website i'm sure you'd find some info about the sort of things to eat when you are exercising like you are, it might be helpful and stop you just grabbing anything when you're so hungry.
    other than that i just want to say you've done brilliantly and good luck for getting back on track

    First off Well done on your amazing weight loss! You've done fantastic.

    Now - I think you need to stop beating yourself up. You're bound to be more hungry if you're training - I think maybe you just need to plan more and get in some healthy foods to snack on.

    Don't put off your night off - perhaps have a glass of water/diet pop between wine, or have Spritzers? Failing that, just have a good time, don't think about it, and get back on the wagon the next day.

    AND - keep posting here - we'll keep an eye on you and cheer you up in no time, promise!
