Help me help myself!!

I'm working 3-11 again tonight, then 8am -4pm tomorrow, then girls night in at my best pals tomorrow night, and possibly end up out to a pub or casino. What do you do?

ugh work! Your girls night sounds good though! I work in Lidl as a store anchor, how about you? Lousy working weekends isin't it
 
I used to have to work every Saturday Night and every Sunday Night at Asda and it really sucked as my weekends just vanished into the ether :-( x
 
I'm a receptionist in a hotel, and yeh I hate working weekends xx

Thats cool, I studied hospitality in uni, then ended up with a job in a totally different industry, 4 years well spend .... Not!

Hope work wasn't too bad Sweetie? We ended up going to the Pirate Ship which is an outdoor play area and then to the giant sandpit! X
 
If anyone felt that massive tremor in the ground, it was me falling off the wagon! I just don't know what's been wrong with me the last few days :mad:

Hey ladies, another massive fail, it's my birthday today and I ate cake and chocolates ugh so disappointed in myself it's like I have learned nothing! I just don't know how to get myself motivated again :sigh:

hi, having read urs & linzmains posts i was thinking that both of you (& me but i'll come to that) press a self destruct button when you are near a target, it must be a phychological reason i'm guessing to actually stop us from achieving our goal (weight in this case) that we have worked so hard for. we all can lose the weight if we recognise we are sabotaging our success, what do you think ?

Two weeks ago after being 100% for 10 weeks i was in grasping distance of my two stone and went on a massive binge for a few days, although i have pulled it back and escaped with a sts (i'd lost every single week) so i dont know if it happens when we get near to what we want, is it all about the getting there to our goal ? and perhaps we struggle to except that once we get there our struggle is done with and we will be slim which is what we want isnt it. i've thought about this before and when on sw i lost the 3 stone woohoo (what did i do) i pressed self destruct and ate it all back on again. I guess we all have to learn what to do once we get to target ie. to keep going with the rest of weight loss or cope with that we are actually slim again and this is what we have wanted all along :)
 
Well I managed to do away with some of last weeks 4.5lb gain with a 2.5lb loss today, happy with that its been a hard week, a lot going on and I am struggling to keep on top of my dieting at the moment! How are you all doing?

I have decided that no matter what I'm going to be 100% this week today has been good so far food wise

1 slice of brown bread toasted 2
1slice of ham 1
Apple 0

Home made veg soup 2
Brown bread 2

Cracker with curry coleslaw (picking!) 4

Baby potatoes 3
Mushrooms and onion 0
Oil 1
Microwave veggies 3
Sirloin steak grilled 7

Fruit salad 0
Low fat cream 5

So that's 30pp out of 35

Went for a small walk, emphasis on small!

How are you all getting on?
