HELP NEEDED QUICKLY! Seasoning for steamed Veg? ANYONE?

Hi All,

So i am cooking a lovely Fish Pie from the Slimming world magazine! I have just finished making it and its in the oven as we speak! its looks lush! I am trying to prove to my partner that a diet doesn't need to be bland for us...

I want to serve it with some Veg and i have some green beans and Samphire (dont ask, it was reduced in Asda) I plan to steam them BUT if i cannot have butter what can i have with it.. seems a bit dull just steamed veg? any seasoning ideas please! household things would help as cannot get to a shop!

The veg shouldn't need anything as when served with your fish pie the sauce from the pie should / will go on to the veg.
Sounds lush x enjoy x

We use one of these depending what veg it is.....
Schwartz= spicy all season
Schwartz=cajun
Mixed herbs

If you want a buttery taste, we use butter buds from Lakeland. Quite expensive but 1/2 syn a packet, it is in powder form, I use it on all sorts, baked pots, mash, pasta yum

As they are only 5 cals per sachet - should they not be 2 sachets per 1/2 syn??
