HELP! Struggling with water

Im really struggling to drink all my water every day. Ive never liked water and its a real chore to have to drink this amount every day. Soups, shakes, bars no problem but having NOTHING that I can drink and enjoy is really getting me fed up

Are there ANY other options available :cry:

I really wish Exante did water flavourings like Cambridge

each day i have:

2 cups of tea with a splash of semi skimmed, 2 litres water from one 2 litre bottle which i refill and keep at work so i know i have to have it whilst at work IYSWIM? then i have fizzy water, coke zero or dr pepper zero when i feel the need.

i could not only drink water, as a smoker i need some flavouring between meals as i cant have gum or mints.

Oh now thats good to know, does Coke Zero keep you in ketosis??? If I could have something else to just sip on during the evening I know it would really help but I dont want to risk my weight loss.

Id kill for a Diet Coke right now lol

apparently, diet coke has citric acid which can knock you out (although atkins has always said any diet drink is fine?) but coke zero has malic acid which doesnt affect it...

also if you read the flavoured water labels and find one without citric acid and no sugar cals then theyre fine to!

I know strictly it's not allowed but i drink diet coke and it's never stopped me from going into ketosis or taken me out of ketosis, i think it's more to do with the diet coke causeing cravings than anything else, im not a big water liker myself so the odd diet coke here and there is a lifesaver for me. Before i did any VCLD i think i must have been a kid the last time i drank water alone, i tend to drink it at room temperture now though as i can get a lot more down that way.

Honestly? I drink quite a lot, as and when i want it, im a diet coke junkie and could never go without my diet coke, im not saying it's right and it is going against the rules a little but it's never did me any harm and i don't seem to get cravings either, mabye im just lucky.

It's asda diet coke i drink and a snip at £1.64 for four 2L bottles!

I drink sparkling water, strawberry and kiwi flavour out of sainsbrys. no citric acid and keeps me in ketosis...and is very good. also hav diet coke sometimes xx

Be careful with the fizzy drinks because they can induce hunger. That's why Cambridge doesn't advocate Coke Zero any longer.

If ever I have fizzy, I just have Coke Zero and only one 330ml can a day.

I drink 3l of water a day and break it up into two 1.5l bottles. I make sure I have drunk one before my 2nd shake, and the other before my final one. Then I know I have had it all and can relax in the evening without being up on the loo all night haha!

I just feel having a glass of diet cola in the evening will really help. For me drinking water is a real chore and theres no enjoyment in it. Kind of like taking medicine!!

Ive bought some Asda diet cola, citric acid free, its in the freezer cooling as we speak lol

Yeah I hate the water. Out tap water tastes minging and I can't afford to keep buying bottled water. As a rule I never drink water. I'm hoping it's a habit that will stick!!! x

I don't really like anything fizzy so feel stuck with water or black coffee/tea. Is there any option that is non-fizzy? I might be ok with the sparkling flavoured waters if they are allowed as I do drink the plain sparkling water now.

I bought a water filter today so hopefully thatll help with the tap water. Least when Im back at work we have a proper water cooler.

There might be, it took me literally hours of googling etc to discover the Asda cola is ok to have, there may very well be something.
