I am off out for a meal tomorrow with the girls, and was wondering if someone would tell me what was best to pick off the menu.....it is as follows: -

Chef’s Homemade Soup of the Day (v)
Served with a fresh bread roll and butter
Chicken Liver Pate
Served with fruit chutney and focaccia bread
Royal Greenland Prawn Platter
Topped with sauce Marie rose

Slow Roasted Yorkshire Beef
Coated in a peppercorn sauce
Pan Fried Chicken Breast
Accompanied by a chasseur sauce
Roast Mediterranean Vegetable Tartlet (v)
Served with cheddar and mustard sauce

Lemon sponge and Custard
Assiette of Ice Creams
Chocolate Fudge Cake

im thinking, if I go with the prawn platter, with no sauce for starter, which will probably come with salad. Then the roast beef with no sauce for main, which will probably come with veggies, and then skip the desert. Does sound about right??

Im also planning on drinking vodka and diet coke, so 2.5 syns per drink....think its sounding like a plan, lol x

All in all, I think it was a good night.

Starter = melon with strawberries
Main = roast beef with veggies
Desert = cheese cake, on the principle of just having a bit, but it was gorgeous and I ate it all, lol....did loads of dancing afterwards tho lol xx
