Help with Harvester!!

    Apologies if this has already been asked, but can't find it in a search!!

    Went to Harvester for a friends birthday lunch today and chose the "Simply Chicken" as it looked like the best option- flame grilled chicken breast (no sauces etc), jacket potato (no butter/sour cream) and peas. Am now panicking as tried to work this out on the Syns calculator and it said 41 1/2 syns on EE!?!

    Desperately hoping this is wrong as it's WI tomorrow. Obviously not sure on portion size, so had to have a rough guess.

    Any advice appreciated.

    I wouldn't believe it was that many syns, unless they deep fried every single thing including the peas lol! I'd take all that as free on EE but if you're still worried you could cut your syns back a bit until weigh in. Personally I would say it was an amazing choice considering all the goodies at Harvester to choose from! Well done!

    Thanks- was rather pleased with myself!! I think I must have massively overestimated portion size!! It was really yummy as well!
    I can't see logically how it could be that many, so hoping I might get away with it!!

    What did you put in the syn calculator??

    If the chicken was cooked without oil then that'd be free on EE and red or hexb on green. If it was cooked with oil than add a syn or 2.
    Same goes for the potato - no butter or anything so on EE and green that would be free and a hexb on red. The peas, again would be free.

    I've had this lots at the harvester when on SW and only count a couple of syns for the possibility of oil.

    Edit: I just seen you said you were on EE. So what were you trying to syn? If we checked the syns for everything we'd be having 2967345 a day. That's why we don't syn free foods or healthy extras.

    So I'd say your meal was, at most, 2 syns (oil for cooking).
