I would suggest that you try and go for a free starter eg, egg mayonnaise or prawns etc without the mayo, and for the main, again meat, fish, and veg without rich sauces, and a pud without cream eg fresh fruit salad etc. It might sound a little boring but remember you are there to enjoy the company first and foremost and the food is secondary really. Ask yourself how important it is that you STS or loose next week and you should make the right choices. Good luck and enjoy the evening.
