Help!

I've never really tried to lose weight before I've only gave half hearted attempts but I really want to lose some of these extra pounds before I start my new job! Everyday I start off with a good outset then something will happen (its been a difficult couple of months with moving house etc) and I find myself reaching for a couple of biscuits! Any motivational hints and tips/advice would be very welcome or even a slimming buddy to shout at me when I start creeping towards the biscuit tin!

Hi red riding hood!

What helped me was coming to terms with the fact that it is basically self-sabotage to eat junk food, or too much food, when you want to lose weight. If you actually make yourself think about the logic each time -I say out loud to myself "you want to lose weight. Why would you eat that?" - it seemed to help me. It's like you have to reprogram yourself and learn to stop the impulse. The more you think about your future slimmer self, the less your grumbling stomach bothers you.

My 2 cents! Wishing you a strong week

Thanks I'll definitely give that a go, starting well today with Jordans natural museli cereal as HEB and some berries, however, did 35g instead of 28g but that was just a dizzy moment and not looking things up properly but im learning finally!
