    I have spent the last week trying to get into Slimfast. By this I mean I have been having the drinks, shakes and bars to see if I can do it!

    I have got my head round doing it now I just need to get strict - Will this work?

    1) 8am - Shake made at home
    2) 11am - Shake made at home
    3) 2pm Shake made at home
    4) Dinner approx 600 cals @ 5pm

    I thought I would not do the snacks but rather replace 2 snacks with an extra shake because if I leave it too long between meals I would eat everything in sight - so we are looking at an average of 1200 cals a day plus milk in tea and coffee.

    This should be OK shouldn't it?

    Hi AnnaMaria

    You have to find a way that works for you, I dont get on too well with the shakes so I only have one for breakfast, the tend to make me feel bloated for an hour then I get very hungry. I prefer the meal bars and snacks during the day as It means I can have the odd choc bar or pack of low fat crisps and make the diet not seem to intense. But as I said just find a way that works for you, I so dont do it by the book! Good Luck x

    Hi, I need help. I have been on SF for almost 2 weeks now and I haven't lost anything. I don't know what to do, I'm sticking to it completely.

    I weigh 12 stone at 5ft.

    This is my food intake for avg day;

    B = SF Shake/meal bar
    L = Meal of 500-600 cals (like pasta/jacket potato/Soup)
    Snack of 25g Pretzels = approx 100 cals
    D = SF Shake
    Snack = SF Choc Peanut Bar 99 cals
    Water & Tea/Coffee

    Avg, calories 1150 -1300

    Please Help, everyone has had such great weight losses with SF and I was hoping that I would too.

    I think atchon blimp your calorie intake is a bit too high to lose. I suggest cutting out the snacks and just have the 2 shakes & meal. Usually its around 800=1200 a day can make you lose weight. Try reducing your cals

    Hi Atchonblimp 20, are you measuring yourself? I find some weeks I loose inches rather than the pounds id like, I have a lot to loose so it may be different but Im eating the same as you apart from I have a dinner instead of a lunch and I take the weekends off. If your exercising a lot you may just be toning up. Good luck x

    im feeling fatter on it after 2 days, but i think my body is adjusting. When i was ON CAMBRIDGE there was the ketosis or fat burning thing happening. but slimfast is a much gentler diet

    Thanks MummyEm I have just measured myself and have lost 3 inches in the waist so it must be working, and the gym helping.
    Thanks
    I have also checked out the calorie calculator mandye and it says I should be having 1600 cals, so having 1100 - 1200 is pretty good.
    Thanks.
    :)
