Hi everyone i have been a serial yoyo dieter for all my life. I have always been a SW fan but am eating far too much free food to loose weight. i am thinking about trying WW in the very near future( got to be the right time).so am just reading and getting myself ready to start.
This is a great forum and i know that when i do start i will get and give loads of support.
    Happy Mnday everyone.

    Welcome

Its a nice bunch of people here, if you have questions fill free to ask away and someone should be able to help.

My friend had the same problem with SW (although it does work for some) that's why I didn't try it as I lack self control when it comes to portion control and that's the main reason I got to where I was, from a size 12/14 right up to a size 20 in some shops

Oh its not to say you can't have big portions on WW as well but for example if I did then it leaves me less points for the rest of the day.

It is certainly a weight loss plan that is helping me understand what decent sized portions are, and how to eat healthier in order to make the most of what points I have.

I wish you all the best for the future with WW...

    Hi and welcome.

I did sw for a while and did have a good loss on it but fell off the wagon and found that because I knew the plan too well I became very complacent and my portions were still too big. I am coming to the end of my second week of weight watchers and I am finding it much more flexible, but also it is making me much more conscious of portion size and realising that I am actually full on less food than I was eating before.

This site is brilliant for support and would recommend it for anyone following the plan.

I wish you every luck in the future and which ever plan you choose hope you sucessfully complete your weight loss journey.
