HI Everyone,

I wanted to introduce myself as i'm starting to feel like some sort of super spy lol. I've been reading a lot of your diaries and i have to say that you guys are so inspiring really. The way you support eachother is totally amazing!!

I started on the exante TS (not 100% tho:eek:) on Monday and I'm 5lbs down already!! I really wanted to share this with someone as Mum is probably sick of me calling her every time I weigh in, which has been everyday (slightly obsessive I know!).

Hopefully I can continue on my weight loss journey, and not give up like I usually do, but I'm terrified of facing the weekend.

Any useful hints or tips for me?? I need help.

Hi Ella welcome to exante ! Its great isnt it ?! You should join one of the challneges like August challenges to compare your weight loss with others. The weight tapes are from tickerfactory. You then cut and paste into your signature (there is probably something here tellin g you how to do this......help !)

Hiya and welcome! I started on monday too an this morning makes me 7lbs down so far already! Day 4 is better than the rest so far, just cooked brekkie for the kids and it did not bother me :D on to housework now. Got much more energy today but i am SUPER hot. I was hoping to feel cold :( lol how u finding it today?

Hey Ella, welcome!
Definitely you should start a diary and post all your diet-ramblings in them - this is what stops my family from wanting to strangle me!
I found the first weekend hard, breaking the habit of having a 'treat' of a takeaway or a few glasses of wine, but 6 weeks in I don't really associate food and weekends anymore... result!
If you find you have a favourite flavour soup or shake definitely have one of those saturday evening, so it still seems like something nice. I have all my shakes made into iced coffees and I love them so much that I would happily chose them over loads of other foods!
Make sure you drink loads of water too as this will keep your appetite down (while you're getting into ketosis) and stop you craving food... then any non-food treats you can think of followed by an early night will probably need to be the plan for this first weekend!

You know I'm finding this a bit easier than anything else I've tried so far but will definitely look for a challenge to keep me motivated.

Tink thats amazing... I see your a chronic weigher like me then lol. I promised myself once a week after this week is over. To be Honest i haven't found that i've been hungry at all and like you i started to get an energy boost yesterday. Funny enough I am cold?! Is this Ketosis?

The hardest thing for me is not eating through the boredom at work (Desk Job) and feeding the bubba. My Daughter is 19 months old and every time we go past a shop she screams STOP! and screeches until we go in! Far too much temptation in there for me. I've had a pack of m&m's in the cupboard for a week:cry:

Thanks for the tips LED... Its hell getting through the milkshakes. I'm taking the vanilla and chocolate hot with coffee but i haven't been brave enough to try the strawberry or banana yet.

just so u know, u can set up a ticker by going to this website.

Weight Loss - Diet Ticker

when you have input all your figures, it will give you a code (looks like a very long web address) for you to copy and paste into any website your a forum of.

What you need to do then is come back to minimins and click on 'user cp' and then through there you can update your profile.
You want to paste the code into your signature section .
