Im new and here to say hello!!

Im 15yo and began wanting to lose weight when I reached 11st 10lb. I had become size 14 and was fed up of being out of breath after climbing the stairs at school, or after running just 100 metres in PE. I also want to lose weight as one of my horses does not like a lot of weight on its back, and I felt i was beginning to reach her limit. I don't want to be really thin, just healthy, happy within myself and fit.

I began my diet a couple of weeks ago. I have spend 45 minutes on the treadmill, 4 or 5 days a week, and cut back on snacks and portion sizes. I have lost 10lb so far and im over the moon. I feel great, much healthier already. My target weight is 9st 9lb which gives me a healthy bmi of 23.2. Fingers crossed I can keep it up!!

Wow, congratulations on your weight loss so far, it sounds like you are getting on really well. I find exercising makes me feel so much better and I have more energy. Welcome to minimins and all the best with reaching your target! :)
