Hi everyone!,
Really new to all of this forum stuff, so apologies if I get something wrong!

I decided a few days ago enough was enough and I really needed to lose some weight because it keeps piling on. I quit smoking a few weeks ago and that's made me put about half a stone on so far. So here I am at 13 1/2 stone and 5'6 with a BMI of 30.5

Have decided that I will be following slimming world, simply because you can eat as much food as you want (within reason) and still lose weight. I've lost a lot of weight on it before and love the recipes :)

The thought of exercise absolutely terrifies me. I hate it. Just wondering if anyone has any strategies that they use to motivate themselves to exercise? And what types of exercise you do? I am honestly absolutely clueless at it so tend to just stick to my cross trainer when I can actually be bothered. .

Hi and :welcome2:

I never used to do any exercise at all but I've recently started walking with a friend. Not power walking....we just walk at our own pace around the area. Before I started this I couldn't walk upstairs without getting out of breath....now it's not too bad. Must admit we don't go out if it's raining or if it's too cold but at least it's more than I used to do.

I would imagine anything more than you're doing now, if you're not doing any that is, is better for you and will complement your weight loss plan.
