    Hello,
This is my first post on here, I found the forum whilst googling info on Slimming World.
I have been a WeightWatchers member on and off for eight years when I reached goal easily and maintained for two years, then gradually gained all I had lost.
I last rejoined WW just before the new propoints plan began, and have since been finding it very difficult.
Too be honest, all the calculating and weighing of food, whilst trying to feed the family, is doing my head in, to put it mildly.
I've toyed with SW before, and regularly buy the magazine, but decided yesterday that maybe I should give it a try, so I intend to go and join this evening.
I hope I have made the right choice:eek:

Good luck with joining tonight...I'm 3 weeks old today and I'm feeling great as I get to eat lots of lovely food so I don't feel deprived. Although I know my start weight I am not going to weigh myself weekly am going to measure by clothes sizes instead. This forum is amazing and you'll find motivating posts on here daily. Hope you enjoy your slimming world journey.

    Welcome to minimins! :welcome:

I was very close to joining WW's Pro Points thing..as it was new, and something to try. But in the past, i found that i was just using my points allowance on rubbish, and not actually eating that healthy! Dont get me wrong, WW's does work but i found that i was hungry quite a lot of the time, esp in the evenings and with no points left..i just found it hard.

SW has taught me so many new recipe idea's, that are healthy and filling..and i just dont feel like i am missing out on things. Knowing i have upto 15 syns thrown in aswell as free foods is just fantastic..if i want chocolate i can, or a packet of crisps without any guilt.

Good luck to you on your journey :)
