Hello everyone,

I start CD diet tomorrow!!! I have done the CD before a few months ago and had to stop after i became ill (nothing to d with the CD). I'm back to full health now and i start again tomorrow. I have about 13stone to lose and i see my CD tomorrow evening. I'm finding it very hard losing weight and always lose about 3stone and give up! I have no idea why, so i am hoping this time i can go that little bit further and lose this weight. I dont want to JUT lose weight tho i really want to get fit... so i have ordered a treadmill and a cross trainer/exercise bike and i am going to give it 110% and stalk walking and stuff. At 23 stone i dont think i have the guts to go out walking but hopefully this treadmill can start me off slow and i can work myself up :) How are all you doing on the CD? I am really nervous about getting through this first week.. i hope you can all be here for me xxxxx
 
Hi hun

im a newbie aswell, I started yesterday. Drinking my milkshake as I'm typing lol. It's not as hard as I thought it was gonna be, I didn't wake up feeling hungry which was good just got a terrible headache and my little girl has decided to be very loud this morning.

Ive got 5 stone to lose, I'm the same as u I wanna get fit aswell, I want to be able to run around with my little girl and not feel like I'm going to pass out lol.

I started at the end of January and also had the same start weight as you so I know how you feel! Just keep going with it and all I can say is it does get easier!!

make a list of any fears or negative behaviors that have hurt your weight-loss success in the past .Read each one out loud, and then say, " I used to be that way, but now i'm different ".
Then write new endings for them by completing this sentence: I used to be ------------------ fill in your old behavior but now I ----------------- write in your new ending)
 
good luck you can do this!! i started CD many years ago now at 21stone i lost 7 stone in 6 months and found it a lot easier than expected! i didnt finish it as i got to what i felt was a comfortable weight but i wish i had finished it! ive maintained the weight i lost (so yes it can be done!!) but struggled in past few years to stick to it now, trust me first time is golden time! everyone i know who comes off it and re starts has struggled, no idea why its all in my head! hoping to lose the last 3 stone this year! it will come off so quickly and keep you motivated! just be prepared to spend a lot on new clothes (its great fun!) oh and accept it when people tell u you look good, i never believed them, i lost it so quickly it took a while for my head to catch up! defo take photos now so you can compare, i didnt have any at my starting weight and wish I did! and come on here as much as you can as it really is a great support! keep us posted on how you do!x
 
oh and remember the first 4/5 days are bad but just keep thinking by day 6 maybe sooner you WILL feel great, you wont be hungry and it will be worth it! the first few days are horrible and the worst part if you can get past them (keep as busy as you can to distract yourself) you will be fine! take a look at the thread with before and after pictures it really will motivate you! dont be nervous your about to start a great journey and by the end of this year think how amazing your going to look!!! ok im done now LOL x
 
Thank you everyone!! People are so lovely on here... think i might be on here quite a bit!! I am really looking forward to this journey, and i am really looking forward to staring to walk too :) <3 xxxx
