Hi there! I'm Clare, I am a serial yo yo dieter and I am not afraid to admit it!!
I have been of the SW way of life for the last 6-8 months now and have decided that it's about time I stopped messing about and sorted my eating and drinking habits out again!
After I had my son (when I was pregnant I put on nearly 4 stone
) I joined SW and reached my target weight within 18 months, only to be told 2 weeks later that some medication I needed to start taking to prepare me for an operation would make me put on weight
.
I decided to hell with it, if I was going to put on weight anyway, I might as well enjoy it so ditched SW and went back to my old ways.
It was the shock of seeing a picture of myself looking bigger than I ever had been before which made me go back to group, where I eventually reached target - again this February.
Since then, I have split up with my husband and am now a single, full-time working Mum, who actually still has a life! The weekends that my husband has my son I have been making the most of my freedom and partying hard. But the reality has hit that I can't carry on like this and I have to take control of what I am eating and drinking or I will end up piling back on all the weight on that I have worked so hard to lose over the last few years!
Well, that's enough of my rambles. I'm looking forward to getting to know some of you more and sharing tips and ideas to help each other stay on track!
