I started Slimming world back in may, lost nothing! My heart wasn't in it and I was grieving the loss of someone. 2011 is my year! I've rejoined a new club where a friend of mine lost 3.5stone so far! I am 16 stone 10lb and have about 5 stone to lose to get to target!

I'm totally ready this time and I'd LOVE any hints or tips. I want to do this for me, I hate my belly and feel repulsed daily. My boyfriend is only 12.5 stone so I get really conscious. I've joined this forum, handed my last ever assignments in yesterday and am now uni-free! I wanna lose 7lb by Feb
5th! That's my mini goal.

I just want advice, anything! What's best to eat? Can you really have lots of rice and pasta?

Hi there Catherine and welcome.

I have not been one here long but have found it very interesting and helpful.

I too want to lose 7lb but by Feb 6th (my birthday)!

Do you still have your books that you had from last May?

They really haven't changed that much.

The best advice I can give is to have a wonder around the site.

What type of food do you like to eat?

I love green days so I do like my pasta and egg noodles, although I do lose more on a red day.

I know how you feel about having a smaller partner, my OH is only 10st and I always feel like a mini mammoth next to him!

We WILL get to our goal in February though!!!!

Thanks everyone!! I do like extra easy as it provides variety!! So I think I'll stick to that xxx
