Heya. I've been stalking this forum for quite a bit now and quite like it. Have seen some pretty inspirational stuff especially from the success stories section. [Well done to everyone who has achieved their goals and/or nearly there]
I've previously tried losing weight and did lose weight (10kg) but then felt demotivated afterwards and the weight came piling back on. I finished college (my last exam on 22nd) but have been eating good and exercising since the start of this month really. (I haven't counted that as my start date though and have basically counted today as my start date although that would technically not be correct. I'm not on any particular diet or whatever, but I'm just basically sticking to eating 1000-1200 calories a day of healthy stuff e.g. kidney beans, sweetcorn, tuna, fish, wholemeal bread, milk, and also getting my ~2L a day from water which is good. I exercise at least 1hr a day so always 1hr to 2hrs 6 times a week. This includes brisk walking and on alternate days I do weights so as to tone up. Will hopefully add in some HIIT once I regain some fitness. I basically want to get a healthy BMI but won't necessarily be unhappy if I have a slightly high BMI as it could be due to muscle increase, so basically I want to be happy with myself and be a size 12 again by next year. I don't think it's good losing weight quickly as it only means it's much easier to put the weight back on so I'm aiming for 1-2lbs a week, so it's much easier for me to maintain and also so that it's pure fat and not muscle that I'm losing.
That's all.
