**Ho Ho Ho Christmas Challenge**

Christmas is fast approaching, with only 22 weeks to go!! I've joined a Christmas challenge on a different section, but it makes sense to add it here as I'm here more often so....​

My Christmas Challenge is to have a lovely new dress and drop some pounds along the way :xmassign:​

Ok so 22 weeks - at 2lb per week thats 44lbs!! Thats 3stone!!! Thats pretty much what ive lost now! HAHA the thought of loosing that is crazy took me a year almost to loose that initially! Well lets aim big 44lbs to go lol xx

When I sat and worked out the weeks and the pounds per week it really adds up!

2lb a week is do-able hun, if you hit the target,which I'm sure you will!..that 3 stone is a potential 2-3 dress sizes down

That would be a stonking Christmas hun! Then think that by the end of January, you'll be at goal and thinking about maintaing!!

I cant imagine ever getting to target - but i must admit i cant remember ever believing id weigh what i do now (never thought id loose this much) but i def feel now ive got past the 17s 16s and 15s that its doable! I finally feel like im making a dent! And to think by xmas i could be in the 11s is crazy but so appealing!!! I must do it!!! xx

I think once you've made a dent, it becomes a lot easier to see yourself reaching targets and that big goal!.. You'll do it hun! I know you will!

Found it! And I've read the posts and I don't feel that brave. Do you know I'm sat here thinking about 2lb per week = 44lb and I actually feel scared I am terrified at committing to it. That sounds really stupid doesn't it? I've had such a dodgy 18 months that I'm scared of actually achieving it .
28 lb would be 2 stone and take me to 13:9.
Ok I've waffled myself into it.
Put me down for 28 lb :/

That's still an amazing target to aim for - I personally need high goals to aim for! Else I slack off however some people are te opposite!!

Can I go for 2lbs a week please i.e. 44lbs. Just thinking it's a possibility is pretty amazing but why not.

One of my best friend's is getting married on 11th December so a new outfit (or back into an old but smaller one) for that is my aim.

I first intially started sw over a year ago in may kinda gave up and lost my initial half stone between that may and nov 2010! But yo yo up and down so gave up

But refocused and the rest of the weight I've lost since dec! So what's that 8months?!

But for me the exercise plays a huge role!! And when I reached the 14s was when I felt I'd actually accomplished something! xx
