Bit of this bit of that
Most of us (me included) really seem to struggle in actually seeing the change in the mirror.

Just wanted to say, I really am starting to see it now!

The thing that set it off really was a haircut and a new top which was different to what I usually wear. All of a sudden the person in the mirror looked nothing like me and I was able to see her as others do. From the outside looking in if you know what I mean.

Yesterday I had an unexpected day off! Lifes a bit hectic and I don't pay enough attention lol, I had dropped Hannah off at the childminder and tried to sign on at work only to find it was the holiday rofl. Among other things I took the opportunity to have my bust properly measured. I was wearing 38B which I knew was nothing near right for me, and was doing nothing for me. Turns out much to my shock I'm a 32D!! I didn't believe her until I put them on and they fitted in a way a bra has never fitted me lol! What a difference to my figure. I then went to matalan and bought some more undies and a new pair of SIZE 10 jeans ! I never thought I'd see the day lol. I think they are probably a stretchy 10, but still... I'm a 32D bust and a size 10-12 I'm happy with that and I'm slowly getting used to seeing that 'normal' looking woman looking back at me from the mirror!

So my tips to help you see yourself from the outside looking in....
1.first of all have your bust measured and get a bra that fits it really makes a difference.

    2. Do something different with your hair, it has to be quite drastic so it doesn't look like you! You don't necessarily need it cut but a wash out hair coulour or a wacky up style if you have it long, or spiky if you have it short. Something you can change back if you want lol.

    3. Go to the shop and try stuff on you wouldn't normally. I tried dresses on yesterday and they looked ok, didn't buy any though...I'm a jeans gal lol!

If you really can't see it, trust the scales, a tape measure and your closest friends whose opinions you trust. Believe me you really can't lose even one stone without a few inches going too!

Relax in the knowledge that if you can't see it yet, you will be able to see it hopefully sooner rather than later.

I can't notice a difference in the mirror, yet :-( I know its just a mental thing though!

I think when the scales get into the 14s, which should be very very soon, (currently at about 15stone 3lbs) I think I will definitely be able to feel it! My first goal was 14 stone. So I am about a stone off, but my tracker is tracking me for just under 13 stone as my goal, so we'll see if I can keep it up and achieve that BMI of 24!!!.

Think i'm gonna go out to town and do some more jean trying on... :)

    Well confession time...lol.
After my shower yesterday I was just about to get dressed and walked past the full length mirror in my bedroom.....well I studied what I could see and yes I can see where the weight has gone, and am a lot slimmer...in fact I could see all of me in the mirror at the same time without having to move around....lol.

Still not a pretty sight though..

Sonya --- hurrayyyyyy --- So glad that you can see the difference for yourself now. Looking at what you have lost I'm sure that everyone else has been seeing it for ages.

I'm so pleased for you Sonkie that you are seeing the difference, and I laughed so at your comment about being able to see the whole you in the mirror! I love your sense of humour!

I still don't look good naked, I think those days are gone lol. Although I am going to try and make an effort with exercise and see if it helps. I do have a wrinkly stripey tum unfortunateky I don't think I have been blessed with stretchy skin. Perhaps it will improve a bit, but I suspect I may never make it as a porn star!

Not that I was planning to you understand....

    lol
