How can so many fruits and vegs leave me

    SO CONSTIPATED and bloated and miserable.

    I am never the most regular of people at the best of times and love my fruit and veg etc and always eat plenty. I have just done 6/8 days on SE (+one green and one ee) and i just feel HORRIBLE.

    Anyone got any sugestions

    (i eat activia yogurts as these have helped in the past but not this time)

    Have you tried sipping hot water?

    Are you sure it's the fruit and veg? I was feeling awful earlier in the week but realised it was time of the month and I've also come down with a cold - I'm not wishing either on you but if your used to eating lots of fruit and veg maybe it's not that?

    I can get like this. No matter how much fruit and veg I eat I can often not need the toilet, which is quite weird! I'm the same with the old scan bran, too much can make me constipated which is the opposite effect of what bran is meant to do!

    Have you tried hot water with lemon? It works for me.

    I have this problem - and im gonna cut the Activia out cos i think it might be them......i have one a day to 'keep my insides happy' but i am not sure my insides are getting this TLC they advertise!!!!

    I think i will just be a bloaty ball until then!!! :(

    Make sure you are getting enough water. It is the combination of fibre AND water that makes you 'go'. It binds together to keep your um, poo, soft but bulky and easy to expel..

    Aloe Vera capsules are brill for this type of thing, they are good for digestion. You can buy them at Boots or any health food shop.

    Have u tried some benefibre u just pop them in some water and drink always helps me

    Activia have the opposite effect on me they make me bloated and windy pops! :) hahaha x

    fibre helps with consiptation, like scan bread or general bread :)
