How long can I stay on SS+ for?

#1
Hi,

Sorry for the multiple posts, but I thought it best to keep the questions separate..

I'm a little confused as to how long I can stay on SS+ for. My CDC says I can do SS for up to 12weeks, but then I have to do a week of SS+.

She said I can keep doing SS+ as long as I want to.

I'm confused as the Cambridge literature says that after 12weeks maximum, you must go up a step for at least a week. As Cambridge class SS and SS+ as Step 1, I assumed I had to go up to 810 (step 2) for a week.

Does anyone know the definitive answer please?

My other half is also approaching 12weeks so it would be good to know.

Thanks!

I thought you had to go to 810 on SS+ and actually isn't it to do with bringing you out of ketosis for a week? I'd forgotten that when I asked virtually the same question yesterday?

SS+ is limited to 12 weeks the same as SS. The "add a meal week" is actually doing 810 for that week. The 810 step doesn't have a set time limit.

So unless things have changed recently, the CDC is wrong.
