How many calories per day?

    Hey guys,was just wondering how many calories you're having every day?x

    Calorie Counting, controlled carbs, good nutrition and Slimpods.
    My Fitness Pal gives me 1860 cals. Other sites give me around 2100.
    Generally I eat around 1400-1600/day in the week maybe a bit more at weekends.

    My Fitness Pal tells me 1600 a day, not including exercise cals. I average lower than that, probably around 1300-1500 net. Today I deliberately had more as I've been feeling down and tired. My target was 2100 after exercise, I ate around 1950.

    mfp gives me 1200 before exercise.. Once I eat my exercise cals I'm normally a little below :)

    Thank you for your replies.my fitness pal gave me around 1800 that seems like an alwful lot to me.perhaps I should have more faith in it!xx

    I get 1700. I used to get 1800 like you, but as your weight goes down, so does your calorie intake.

    Go on MFP and go to tools. Check out your BMR (basal metabolic rate). It will tell you how many calories your body is burning just to stay awake. I bet it's quite a big amount of cals? If you eat less than that you will loose weight, so it makes 1800 seem alot more acceptable. :)

    I'm on 1240 cals because that's what MFP tells me is the right amount to lose a pound a week. However, I am almost 50 pounds lighter than I was at the start of my journey and near the 'normal' range so it's bound to be less than it was at the beginning of the year.

    I'm on 1560, aiming to lose 0.5lb per week. If i want to lose any more then it puts me to 1310 (1lb loss) or 1200 for anything further.

    I like to do maintenance weeks if i reach my goal for the month (which is only 2lbs), so i get 1810 calories, i also eat back all of my exercise cals.
