How To Do Cope With A Night Out?!

Hi - Ive got my first night out since being on CD tomorrow night. I meet up with some friends every 6 weeks for a curry. I dont want to bore them to death about my diet but so worried I will cave in when the poppadums and chicken korma comes out! If I have chicken tikka only - that should be ok - wouldn't it? Im combining SS with SS+. Did momentarily think I wouldnt go but you can't let this kill your social life! LOL Sxxxx P.S Also got dinner out with some other friends next week....:eat:.

Chicken tandori is best ... on bed of green salad. Tandori is where they dip it in yogurt, then spices and then put it in the oven.

Hi - I had my 1st night out since starting CD last night.Was meant to go for a chinese, but asked if they minded going to a pub instead as i was not in the mood for a chinese (Buffett Style eat as much as you like job !!!). I suggested the pub called in and looked at the menu, i ordered a chicken cesar salad with no cesar sauce no cheese, ended up with a plan chicken breast salad and just said i did not fancy a pud. Actually really enjoyed the night as i had already made the hardest choice before i arrived - Good Luck :)
Yeah, I agree with Bev! And drink a LOT of water!! Flush it through quickly. Best advice I can give you is imagine in a few weeks time when you have lost more, then the topic will definately be you and your weight loss!!

It really depends on how much you want to lose and how quickly, obviously expect slightly slower results if you go out for dinner every week or have quite an active social life.

Well I had my night out last night. I drank water all night and had chicken tikka with some salad and I did have some spinach... I have just weighed myself and I am 3lb heavier from yesterday morning which has been my total weeks loss so far gone! I'm seeing my CDC on Monday so have got to rid this before then. Dont worry am still positive but just get very p*****d off from the ease of gaining weight! God knows what I would be if I had eaten my normal curry consumption of poppadums, naan bread and currys with thick sauces! LOL SXXXX
