huwiesmummy is having another

Sorry to hear it's stopped, but it's still "something"! :) Hopefully it will have done something to your cervix and will start up again soon! Good luck! So exciting xx

41 weeks just slightly annoyed now. I had more contractions but as it was so late I had to get some sleep again.

I look so annoyed in this photo lol.

ahhh sorry to hear it's all stop-start. Hopefully something will happen soon! x

Nothing yet today it's very stressful. It's not that I'm impatient to see the baby really it I hate being on the edge of labour I just want this part over with. I think once I go into labour I'll relax a bit, but at the moment I'm just getting stressed out at every niggle. In sitting on my.sons bed watching him play with his trains. I keep getting what I call fanny daggers but nothing more.

I'll update if anything happens but it looks like we may be waiting till Tuesday for induction :-(

Oh Hun, trust me I know its disheartening but try and relax. It's a very good sign that your body is doing something. You don't have contractions for 6hrs etc for nothing! Your body is definitely getting ready :) x I know it's frustrating, I've been there. BUT hopefully something will happen before tues, and if not and you do have to be induced, hopefully it won't take long because your body is clearly getting prepared!

Do you mind me asking why you are being induced tues? Is it just because you are overdue? If you really didn't want to be induced you can refuse and opt for extra monitoring if you'd prefer to labour naturally? Might be an option Hun x

Anyway, I hope you are ok, and try and relax/get some rest xxx

I'll be 10 days over on Tuesday thus I have yo report to the hospital for induction. They may sweep first then have me come up again at 12 days over for full induction. Or they could break my waters whatever. I just really don't want them to push things along. I know I can say no but if I do they will make me high risk and I don't want that. I was super high risk last time and it made giving birth difficult as they constantly monitored me so I couldn't move.

As today is the most inconvenient day for me to go into labour it will probably happen it's our nieces first birthday party and her mum is my birthing partner! My lift to the hospital will be there as well and I can't/won't drive just in case I do get contractions, they are very distracting lol.

Ah well, it's just got me down it was like this last time but my.mom was here. So I was better distracted instead of being stuck in the house.

Here we go again with the contractions. Hopefully these are actually ones that will bring the baby out!

Good luck! Really hope it happens! How awesome would that be the night before induction :) x do you have a birthing ball you can bounce on? Try and stay upright and active - bring that baby down! Bring on the contractions!

Really hope this is it for you xx

At the hospital they decided to let me stay and break my waters I've never felt such relief as when they pop then even more relief as I got up and had a huge gush. I've been dying for a wee for the last couple days and now it's gone I just needed my.waters popped. Fingers crossed this forces everything along quickly

He's gorgeous! So glad that labour went well. I feel horribly fat after giving birth, all those firm bits now seem extra squishy!
