I have no hopes of being early. Throughout my pregnancy when asked when I'm due I've always said late April, definitely by may. So I'm not to bothered by my due date really.

Baby should be here in the next couple weeks

I'm ready for it to be out though. I'm hoping to.have a sweep Wednesday if my cervix is soft enough. I will be 39+4 but if I wait a week I'll be over 40 weeks so it won't have as long to work before they book for induction. Fingers crossed

Will they do a sweep for you before your due date?

Not sure some will some won't. I'm hoping to lay it on thick and it's only 3 days early. I can understand not doing it at 39 weeks but I'll be 39 +4 and if she waits until I'm 40+4 I'll be annoyed as I was 9 days late with 3 sweeps with Huw

Had my final weigh in at the dietitian I've put on 2st 3lbs and happy about that oddly. Less than I feared I would at the beginning which was a 4st gain. Now let have this baby!

Had my sweep today. Nothing yet just soreness when the baby moves. She said I was very favourable cervix wise and only 1cm so should could only do a 1 finger sweep. So if nothing happens between now and and next Wednesday we will try again.

I had curry tonight as well maybe it will push me into labour lol! If not the curry was bloody lovely!

I'm Ok so far nothing more than a bit of back ache. I've started to walk to pick up Huw from school to help things along. Hopefully I'll have the baby within the next 10-11 days as Huw was only 9 days late.

No luck so far maybe today of not i see the midwife for another sweep. I'm not sure what procedure they use for induction as if I wait to see her again on the 29th I'll be at 12 days over due.

Hopefully I'm in labour before then.

I've had my midwife appointment. She did a sweep and she said was successful. She managed to separate the membrane and did a full sweep around got me to about 2-3cm this time. Now I won't see anyone until Tuesday at the hospital unless I go into labour naturally. Hopefully this baby arrives in the next 5 days.

It all stopped about 1:30am, but hopefully it's done some good and I start again today.
