I can't believe it's not cheddar!

Has anyone seen this in the supermarket? I spotted it the other day, it's the same packaging as I can't believe it's not butter but its erm, cheese!

Is it a HE? And has anyone tried it? Is it nice? (My yardstick is Cathedral City Lighter so how does it compare to that?!)

No idea what it is hun, I have not seen it. If you manage to find a pack though its worth taking down the nutritional info and giving the syns hotline a call and they will tell you more about it xxx

I can't see this online yet.
Is it a cheese or a cheese spread? If it's a cheese then as it's 30% less fat I suspect it will be 42g for an A choice.
If it's a spread then I don't know!

There's an article about it here; I Can

Looks like it's just a low fat cheddar. Might be worth a try- especially if its on offer. i would expect it to be 42g for a HE, like other reduced fat cheeses :)

So. Strictly speaking "I can't believe it's not Cheddar" is in fact... Cheddar?

:faint2:

Whatever next?

Hey, if you click on the minim ins tab first then the page wil fresh then type in the box what you wanna search then it will open a new window and bring up a list like google. Hope that helps xx

So is this solid or spreading cheese?

If solid, what's wrong with "normal" low-fat or reduced-fat cheddar? - is it cost?, taste?

It is "normal" lowfat / reduced fat cheddar / cheese. They have just given it a damn stupid misleading name. It's a lot like Low Low but melts better.
