I cheated today :-(

Well... I say cheated, but it was more the case that I thought about whether or not it would be right to eat the food that my work had paid for and put on a plate in front of me. It was roast chicken with the works... so I thought, 'well, i dont want everyone knowing about this and i think i can do this AAM style' so I had 2 mouthfuls of chicken, 1 roast potato and some veg, and then I was full!

I don't know what the effect of this will be, have prob kicked myself out of ketosis, but I have no intention of 'carrying on the cheat'- I am so determined that I will succeed on this diet, I am back on the shakes this evening...

HOWEVER, I'm also planning to eat on Tues night (and Wed brekky and lunch) on my business trip but have planned this so as to minimise calorie and fat intake- although I know it will kick me out of ketosis.

After Wednesday lunch I will resume as normal and will not eat again unless ABSOLUTELY necessary.

I know I have the willpower to do this, but could do with some encouragement! Also I need you all to make sure I stick with my plan and get back to SSing straight away with no break!! please?

Can't offer any words of wisdom as i'm only on day 2

But i will say welldone for not eating everything you could have, so that there shows me control and that you CAN do this. Welldone!!

cos i didnt wanna look like i wasn't eating anything! i know its carbs but i chose the smallest one (believe me it was small!) lol x

Hi, I'm on 790 so a bit different. I had a day off last weekend. I was at a wedding and planned to be good but it was all too difficult and ended up just having what I wanted and made a decision to get right back on the following morning...Hubby and I both!

Well I had a fab time at the wedding and did what I said I would. Obviously I was out of ketosis but we did it without any problems. Felt a little groggy for a couple of days but not ill like the 1st time going into ketosis. I was back into ketosis by the evening of the 2nd day back on CD so all in all it was fine and I'm glad I had the day off...I enjoyed it!! ;)

I completely understand you not wanting to make a fuss, I did the same last time i did the diet. I'm even trying to hide it from my flatmates at uni, but that's proving impossible!

As long as you get back on track straight away there will be little effect on the scales by the time you get weighed.

Good luck with getting back on track :D

Hi, Well done on not eating the whole plate and dessert too!

I am on 790 as I lose my holiday weight, I go away with work a lot and last week end was in Glasgow. No one even noticed my eating.

I think we should have a 'how to eat whilst away without anyone noticing' thread:)

I wouldnt worry about what people think. I don't, I am at uni too, I am finding it alot easier than if I was at my home. My flat mates think its silly, but then at the end of the day who cares what people think?

Ive stuck to the diet just to prove to them I can do it.

It is torture when you are faced with "naughty" food, but you should try your best not to eat them.
