I did it!

Just to let you know that this morning I ran(!) the Inverness Race for Life - it was a very slow run at 38 and a half minutes but I did it none the less!!

I only started training 6 weeks ago but joined SW mid February - I definitely couldn't have done it without my SW group and minimins, so thanks everyone!

Also good luck to everyone planning the Race for Life this year - reading all the signs on peoples' backs made me realise just how important and worthy a cause it is.

Thanks for all your comments. I also think I run slower than I walk sometimes (maybe most of the time actually)!

What a difference it made having something to aim towards to keep me exercising too.

Just wondering what my next challenge will be....?
